This seems like a venture by LEGO to present LEGO for sale to generally adult buyers... I noticed two pages of LEGO available via the Skymall magazine on a recent flight I took on United. I received a toy flyer in the mail from K-mart yesterday and they list Hogwarts Express for $39.88 (reg $49.99) 11-1 thru 11-17.   Legoland Shopping
 
I'm thinking about driving to Legoland to pick up some bulk bricks. From what I've heard, it's done by the pound. I was just wondering how good the selection is and if the prices are reasonable. After having dinner I went to the TRU and saw that they didn't have anything really special. The Alpha Team Mech that I found on Sunday is gone. Interesting? Maybe. Isn't this simply a form or arbitrage - where a buyer takes advantage of a localized oversupply or pricing anomaly and resells the product at a price closer to what is the "global market price"? Don't bother. My Tuesday Morning in Durham, NC has put out the selection that will be available at 8am Feb 5th.
