I find all these conflicting reports very conflicting. :-)
My status is that I got 16 of 20 ordered delivered. Order status page shows
"shipped". I called Target Customer Service and the rep I spoke with said
that the other 4 show as backordered in their system. NOT "cancelled" but
backordered. The rep said to expect a shipment of the last 4 in mid January,
and that her system shows "100 people" in a similar backordered state.
This conflicts with what others have said about being told the item will no
longer be available. love it when big companies are inconsistent. This is
not Target's (and I'm a big fan of theirs!) brightest spot I guess.
I have no idea what will actually happen. I speculate that the tubs truly
are gone and we cannot expect another run of them... so any back orders
would have to be fulfilled from stock found elsewhere.
I will watch and wait... they can have use of my money till then as long as
I get tubs, but if in mid jan they say they won't fulfill I will want some
of my shipping back on what I DID get or something to make up for the fact
that they already charged me the entire amount.
