I have received packages via surface from Singapore and Germany and can vouch that it can take a very, very long time. I think the longest I've had to wait is about three months as well. I have written sellers about lost packages only to have the (...) (24 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I bought a couple things from Australia last year and had them shipped via surface mail. They took at least 3 months! I was freaking out as well and since then I ship everything airmail with insurance. I had 1 insured package not arrive from the (...) (24 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

It's probably too late for the buyer to leave negative feedback, but in this case, eBay would not remove it (they basically will only remove feedback under court order, though I think they have also removed feedback by people who have violated (...) (...) I'll add another data point to this conversation. When I moved back from Japan, I sent 5 boxes surface mail back to the US. We have had packages go across the Pacific and Atlantic ocean and have been on the receiving and sending end of lengthy shipping times. You really need to be patient, we have been fortunate that we have never had a package get lost, but I think some (...) (24 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)
