Thanks for the heads-up, Maggie--I was in Lansing, MI on Wednesday and I
looked around at all three area Targets and found one Droid Fighter. That's
all. However, when I scanned it, it was $1.44, and my heart leapt (wow, all
this for LEGO)--so I decided to get up with the crows this morning and head
to my "secret" well-stocked stores in the Detroit area. And boy, did I hit
the motherlode--I spent almost $400, and left more than I took because I
have to drive my compact car back from MI to NJ with all of this *and* my
luggage *and* my Christmas gifts. Egad. The highlights included a dozen
Sith Infiltrators for $7.44 each, two Mos Espa podracer sets, a few Gungan
Subs, and a total of sixteen Samurai Strongholds for $3.74 apiece--all of
which I didn't even come *close* to clearing out. After missing last year's
Target clearance bonanza entirely because of responsible NJ stocking habits,
this year feels very, very good. Grey plates! Grey plates!
I'll post the locations (yes, plural) tomorrow evening, because a part of me
is thinking of going back and trying somehow to squeeze some more Sith
Infiltrators into my car. But after tomorrow morning, when I leave to
return to New Jersey, it'll be moot and therefore open season.
best wishes
Lindsay
