  Re: UCS Tie at TRU

Yep, over Thanksgiving weekend they were $50 each. This was a limited special though and now they have been priced at $69. They are still worth it though, I bought 7 as parts packs (Black wings, Black plates, gray, blue dark gray slopes and most (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) We've got them for that price at TRU stores in the Seattle area. I also heard that they were selling for $49 over one weekend a few weeks back. -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: UCS Tie at TRU

You should be able to find those closer to $50 each. (1/2 list) I got mine for that at walmart.com last year around this time. ----- Original Message ----- From: William R Ward To: lugnet.market.shoppi...lugnet.com ; lugnet.starwars@lugnet.com ; (...)   UCS Tie at TRU

My local TRU has a huge stack of UCS Tie Interceptors for $69 each. Seems like a good deal to me, but before I buy one (or more) I thought I should post about it and see if that's such a good deal, or rare. I was under the impression that the UCS (...)   Re: K-Mart Sale

I can confirm most of what has been said here in this thread, K-Mart is the worst of that style of store that I have been in. I compare this to Target, Wal-Mart, Meire's, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if in the not-to-distant future K-Mart folded as (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Darn...if you hit High Street, there won't be any left for me. :-) No, it's not a plume (more should be arriving soon) but it will interest you. Paul (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: SW 2002 sightings....

Yes, Maine before Michigan...just when I thought I was on the most remote fringes of the distribution lines. Overall, it seems WalMart and TRU are neck-and-neck this year as far as first sightings. On the basis of substance of those first sightings, (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) [Gee, I know I answered this yesterday -- must have gotten lost in the ether.] High Street. Messiest store I have ever seen. What's really scary is that they actually carry foodstuffs of all kinds since they have a full service supermarket (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Thanks for reminding me--I had a FOTD at K-Mart today as well! The last two copies of 4712 Troll on the Loose, sure--but they had 10 <set:7159 pod buckets> for $10 apiece, a discount of 60%.   FOTW at Kmart

I read on lugnet.market.shopping that there was a 20% off sale at Kmart that was to end today (12/12) so I went down to see what I could find. I found no 20% off sale, but I did find some marked-down sets: <set:6478 Fire Fighers' HQ> from 2000, was (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.space)

Re: What's up with the Bionicle Selection?

(...) Is that how it works? If they do ship as an assortment then that makes perfect sense. I always assumed that Lego shipped one kind to a case. That still does not explain the lack of stock assortment at stores. I can understand one store getting (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: What's up with the Bionicle Selection?

(...) .... (...) Come to think of it, I did see this the other day at Target (SF Bay area). I'm not sure, but don't these three ship together? (With the other three shipped in a separate case.)   Re: What's up with the Bionicle Selection?

Re: K-Mart Rant - the Good with the Bad

The rant is fine, and yes, you can find some good deals at some of the sloppiest of stores. But you can't lay all the blame on K-Mart (And I'm not suggesting that was anyone's intention). The toy sections are usually a mess, but it's not because (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: What's up with the Bionicle Selection?

(...) That was the selection that I noticed at the end of November; I saw brown, white, and black yesterday. I generally find two or three colors at any given time, but the selection seems to change every couple of weeks. John (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)
