The rant is fine, and yes, you can find some good deals at some of the sloppiest of stores. But you can't lay all the blame on K-Mart (And I'm not suggesting that was anyone's intention). I will just check a store from time to time and maybe scan an older set or two to see if it has been reduced but not marked. That is the first deal I have seen in (...) I've been to two TRU's, a Walmart, a Kmart, and a Target. They all have the same three small Bionicle canisters, brown, green, and blue. What is going on? Is this some kind of marketing ploy? I agree. K-Marts are some of the trashiest stores. However, I have typically found a majority of my good deals here. So here's why I don't like KMart: I go in to my local K-Mart, hearing about the sale here on LUGNET (Thanks Milissa!) The LEGO aisle has a half dozen signs saying "As Advertised! All LEGO 20% off. I was in my local K-Mart (Charleston,SC) and scanned several Lego sets. They ALL came up 25% off. So I kept scanning and lo and behold, every Lego set, even the newer sets, were 25% off. Hopefully this a chain-wide sale. I have not seen it (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)
