Re: Bulk discounts restricted to what is in the catalog?

(...) Yes, I noticed this too. I place my orders over the phone and was quite disappointed and politely expressed my disappointment to the rep that I was speaking with. This was sometime last year, so apparently I wasn't persuasive enough. I think (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

  LEGO at Sam's Club

Woo hoo! Sam's Club stores in Minnesota (and I'm guessing all over the US) are selling 4561 - LEGO Railway Express for $67.83 ($130 MSRP) The store I was in had at least 3 dozen sets on a pallet by the seasonal toys. A great deal IMHO but too bad it (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Bulk discounts restricted to what is in the catalog?

I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed that when you order bulk items you only get the discount if you order the items in the catalog. For example I just tried to order some 1x4 bricks which are not in the catalog and no discount. I then (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

Re: How to get free shipping from S@H without spending $99

(...) Frank, you will be happy to know that I gave away a brick separator just last week. However, as for having an abundance... no I wouldn't say I do. I now have one green one and two silver ones. That's it. If I understand correctly, wasn't there (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: How to get free shipping from S@H without spending $99

(...) I meant to mention something... perhaps it's obvious, perhaps not. The folks I ordered with are not adult LEGO builders such as myself. These are just parents of LEGO building kids. So this little plan doesn't have to rely on you somehow (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: How to get free shipping from S@H without spending $99

(...) The other great advantage to combining orders is potential savings on accessory packs. The 15% discount doesn't kick in until you order at least 15 accessory packs (of the proper type, of course). It's more convenient to find two other people (...)   Re: How to get free shipping from S@H without spending $99

(...) Our Lug has been combining orders for the last two years. Even without the free shipping that expires soon (10 days and counting!), when we place large orders as a group, we save on total shipping costs. I just added a Breezeway Cafe and the (...)   Re: How to get free shipping from S@H without spending $99

(...) The interesting thing was... it wasn't even my idea. To be honest, it had never occured to me. I had always looked at Shop At Home and thought, "I'd love to start ordering again, but it's hard to stomach paying $4.50 U.S. shipping for a couple (...) (...) Great idea! Also there's the aspect of getting back (in a very nice way) at all those people who dragged you to their tupperware/candle/utensil/etc. parties... make them all order something! (22 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

How to get free shipping from S@H without spending $99

Well, here's how we're doing anyway. I don't remember seeing this idea posted yet, so hopefully I am not repeating something that's already been discussed. So here's the idea: Myself and some co-workers went together a couple weeks back to put (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

Re: Walmart discount on 4709 and 7163

(...) The 25% off is a sale, and not a coupon, so I didn't have any problem getting the discount and a free droid escape. Rose, in actuality, the gunship is $10 off right now at $79.99, so they should give you 25% off that price. The computer rang (...) (22 years ago, 17-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) I don't want to brag, but... well, okay I will brag. I found two 7163 Republic Gunships at a Wal-Mart on clearance earlier this week for $40 each.   Walmart discount on 4709 and 7163

I imagine it's in response to the TRU discount of $10 on each set, but I found the following prices tonight at Walmart: 4709 Hogwarts Castle 75.90 7163 Republic Gunship 71.90 The shelf stickers still have the original prices, and I haven't seen the (...)
