(...) Yes they did.... I have a set of these at home that I got in an eBay lot. Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 (22 years ago, 24-Oct-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Size of sets S1252, S1256 and 10037

Hi! I want to help a friend in Hong Kong by sending him those sets (which are not available there). I will buy them for him from S@H and send them. But first, I wanted to evaluate the shipping price and I need the size of the boxes of those sets. (...) (22 years ago, 24-Oct-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Tan Spindle Fence (quarter-round)

(...) Last week at LLW Guy Bagley told us the Lego drawing paper used by the park modelmakers is called 'knobbe' paper because that is the Danish word for stud. In the 70's TLC ran a promotional thing (in the UK at least) where you got stickers of (...) (22 years ago, 24-Oct-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Tan Spindle Fence (quarter-round)

In lugnet.general, Mr L F Braun wrote: [snip] (...) "knob" seems to be the TLC term for studs, I'm not sure I've ever seen TLC use "stud". I'll bet some enterprising editor removed the "brick" from all those "brick yellow" parts, because they aren't (...)   Shell Lego & older Duplo at KB Toys

KB Toys in the suburban Philadelphia area (Media) are carrying the Shell promotional mini-sets at 3 for $5.00. Not bad little sets. Sets that that I saw were: Helicoptor (URL) Car (URL) Boat (URL) KB I visited also got in a new shipment of older (...) (22 years ago, 23-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Cheap Lego @ Discover Channel Stores

(...) Troy, major mega-thanks for this heads-up. I scored a Republic Gunship and yet another Slave I on this deal, for about $67 out the door. Fantastic! LFB (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Box-4-Blox(tm)

(...) Me too, I feel the same way you do, except for bulk bricks. Since I have over 70 3033s worth of bulk, most of which is unsorted, (but still in the individual bags) I can see where a first pass sort using these might save me a fair bit of time, (...)   Re: Box-4-Blox(tm)

(...) I've seen them in lots of homes here in Oz where there are small children and Lego, so they certainly sell well. As you can probably see from the WWW page, the boxes are basically designed to do a coarse sort by part size by a sieving (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Box-4-Blox(tm)

(...) Thanks. I'm not expecting them to sort EVERYTHING for me but if they can cut a pass off sorting, they'll be a win. I have a LOT of unsorted elements, believe me, so even doing a rough separate might help. Then again, maybe not. We'll see. (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Box-4-Blox(tm)

Got some of these years ago at the local markets. But they don't sort the way I do (by color and shape/function), only roughly by size, Ian (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Box-4-Blox(tm)

(...) Also for an interesting alternate use, the trays are just the right size for a 32x32 baseplate. I've been known to use the bottom green one for landscaping purposes more than once... (...) Lucky you. I've had mine since I was a kid (not that (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Box-4-Blox(tm)

(...) I just ordered two (they take PayPal only, it seems), so I certainly will. Maybe I can talk Rene into letting me give one as an ISCC II prize if I like it... (URL) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Box-4-Blox(tm)

(...) I can see a problem if the trays get too full, the smaller bricks might not find their way through anyway... (...) This sounds interesting.... (...) Sounds good. Did you get them new or second hand? ROSCO (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Box-4-Blox(tm)

(...) I have 20 odd of these trays, which I picked up at a very reasonable price. I don't use the sorting functionality (the bases on the top three are gridded with holes of increasing size). I put a piece of cardboard in the base to undo the (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Box-4-Blox(tm)

I took a look at the web site too after seeing them listed as a sponsor. The concept makes sense (I always know to look at the bottom of a tub for the smaller pieces) but I would think that the type of bricks you can put in the sorter would be (...)
