  Airmail vs Economy

Recently, I sold some parts to a buyer in Australia. The package was supposed to go airmail, but (apparently) went surface because the USPS clerk forgot to stamp 'Airmail' on the package. Airmail postage was paid for and applied to the package. (...) (23 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping)

(...) Duty is charged you at the point of pickup. You'd get a slip saying that you have a package waiting at the post office on which tariff or duty is owed, you'd go to the PO, and pay the duty.   Shipping LEGO from EU to USA

Hi all, I'm now faced with the dilemma of shipping lots of LEGO from the EU to the US. I remember at some point in a discussion someone mentioned the shipping code that LEGO falls under, thus rendering it duty-free--but I can't find the article or (...) (...) Class...pure class! I'm thoroughly impressed with what you have to say. You're exactly right, though, on the theory of getting Lego. MOST of us just love Lego. First let me say, Thanks! I don't think many of us here at lugnet like to brag (too much!) about the stuff we have. Most of us just love Lego, so we're willing to make some strange sacrifices in order to get more. Unfortunately for me, I had to (...) Hello everyone. This 1593 deal pretty much fascinated me. I guess it's safe to consider this set to be the rarest set out there? I have NEVER heard of a Lego going for so much money before.
