Re: Paypal Non Credit Card Payment

(...) Well, I guess that's the situation then -- I'll just keep the thing filled with some extra dollars and that will be that. Thanks for the reply... -- Richard (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.services)

Re: Paypal Non Credit Card Payment

(...) If you have a personal account, it seems to be driven by how much funds you have available already in the account when you initiate payment. If you have enough funds to cover the payment it does not ask you anything. If you don't you can (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.services)

  Paypal Non Credit Card Payment

Hey Y'all: I have been trying to send some people money by the means specified by Stanley and Krenz, to name but a few. I have not seen the screen that Mike posted to the internet a week or so ago -- but I have been able to become "verified", (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.services)

Re: Mike's Brickbay shop - new inventory added

(...) I tried checking the "for an auction" box once and really didn't like it. It seems to me like this is a great way to profile user interests since they actually ask for a URL pointing to the completed auction. Chris (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.services)

Re: Mike's Brickbay shop - new inventory added

(...) Have you been able to tell if they've given all accounts the ability to set preferences for payments - specifically if they've allowed accounts to refuse Credit Card payments, as they seem to have implied they will do (for premier or business, (...)   Re: Mike's Brickbay shop - new inventory added

(...) Paypal seems to have changed a number of screens around, there are new logos and stuff, and some of the payment screens seem to ask for more information, especially if you check "for an auction". I'm not sure it's value add, really. The last (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.market.services)

  Has anybody used yahoo!PayDirect?

It looks like it could be an alternative to paying with a credit card at paypal, since Yahoo PayDirect does not charge fees to accept payment. What I can't tell is if it charges fees when making a payment with a credit card. Does any body who has (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.services)

Re: Can we all agree to do eCheck payments with Paypal and not CC?

(...) Actually, it looks like the processing of a verified account may take some four days. But I started the process a few moments ago. I'll let y'all know what comes of it later this week. Now, I'm just sort of curious about the whole thing... (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.services)

Re: Can we all agree to do eCheck payments with Paypal and not CC?

(...) Could be. I will check this out directly. As it stands, I can confirm that the interface screens I have been viewing look nothing like the one you posted about -- there are at least a few HUGE differences. Thanks, Mike. -- Richard (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.services)

Re: Can we all agree to do eCheck payments with Paypal and not CC?

(...) Let me throw two observations into this discussion... 1) Once you have upgraded an account (to premier/business), I can find no way to refuse any payment. I *really* wanted to bounce one the other day, so I looked through PayPal. There is (...) (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.services)

Re: Can we all agree to do eCheck payments with Paypal and not CC?

(...) After checking my history of payments I think I know what Richard's problem is. He is listed as "Unverified" - which I believe means he has not registered a bank account with Paypal. I don't believe Paypal originally required one to do that, (...) (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.services)

Re: Can we all agree to do eCheck payments with Paypal and not CC?

It just so happens that a seller recently kicked me some money back again because the item was not in the (...) (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.services)

Tested (was Re: PAYPAL Work-Around (untested))

It seems to work okay. I implemented the 2 account system a little different. My personal account is now maxed out on cc receipts. Instead of upgrading that account, I opened a new business account with a single, unpublished e-mail address. I used (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.services, lugnet.market.theory)

Re: instant echeck = credit card? Was: parts update
