    Equivalency Question —Christopher L. Weeks
Hi all, I'm thinking about replacing the stuff I take whenever the option comes to me and I'm interested in thoughts from y'all. I am taking it for granted that I will replace with more/better (by a little) than what I take, but some things are hard (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

        Re: Equivalency Question —Doug Finney
(...) Ultimately I think all 3 should grow but each individual's focus should be increasing value, diversity and uniqueness of the pieces in each box. Even if the piece count or bulk decreases in one swap, they should go up over time. A Fabuland (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Equivalency Question —Christopher L. Weeks
(...) I agree with your assessment, but it doesn't lead us to any kind of solid ground for deciding what to trade. I guess each person will just have to try to stick to the spirit of the thing. If you're putting fabuland figs in the box, I want you (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

         Re: Equivalency Question —Sybrand Bonsma
(...) I have the same opinion. The Fabuland gargae may appear useless to many people, but if the box would eventually come to me (I'm in the Netherlands, so the shipping costs are much higher compared to inside the USA), I would take the garage out (...)          Re: Equivalency Question —Paul Sinasohn
Where do clear space/aquazone windshields fall in the value scale :-) Of course, I'm looking for train parts and a few technic things, but I've got a dozen mixed minifigs and accessories already set aside, along with a BURP and a couple misc castle (...)      (...) Tons and bunches. I haven't had anything to add to the conversation, so I haven't spoken up lately. Steve (25 years ago, 21-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

        Re: Equivalency Question —Chad Smith
(...) Definitely include me as a "want to play"-er, I just ahven't had anything more valuable to add to the discussion than this lousy "me too" post. Definitely lurking this group with great enthusiasm, though. Chad (25 years ago, 21-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

        Re: Equivalency Question —Tom McDonald
(...) I have to admit since I'm stingy about my collection, I want to see how it goes with this great experiment first. Unless I have scads of something, which I don't, I usually find it difficult to trade. So ATM I'm a lurker here. -Tom McD. when (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)
