Re: Technic Box #2 Update -shipped (was: Update)

(...) Me too. I'm done with it. Well, sort of. I'll either make two very minor trades with it for technic beams and a gear-chain (is that what we call them?) or I'll make no trades. There was nothing that I really wanted. Didn't these technic boxes (...) (24 years ago, 23-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Technic Box #2 Update -shipped (was: Update)

(...) Well, when the box started, it was at about 5 lbs. and included pneumatics, large gears, clutch gears, and other sought-after pieces. Most people on the list have really helped the box, but others have just been a little needier than the rest (...) (24 years ago, 23-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

(...) I'm not trying to be a prick, but I'm just not sure that the two statements above are both possible. It sounds like it was a treasure trove. And now...it is better than technic box #1, and it may well have gained weight (I'm not sure). But it (...) (24 years ago, 24-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

(...) now...it (...) take (...) I would be lying if I said the box box was a treasure trove. It did have "some" good pieces in it. The rest of the pieces were in there for "fill" factor. I haven't seen Technic Box 1, so I am not able to compare the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Technic Box #2 Update -shipped (was: Update)

(...) I think it is better to keep the boxes close to two pounds, I'm willing to spend $3.20 for the chance to possibly get some neat pieces. The problem on these Jambalaya boxes is that very few parts are worth paying much to get the opportunity to (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

(...) How did that happen? I thought the original idea was not to decrease the overall general value -- increasing it is optional and considered a bonus, no? --Todd (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Technic Box #2 Update

This is a general question: when the next recipient of a box doesn't respond to emails, should one move on to the next person on the list? In this case I'm trying to contact Daniel Delcollo about Technic Box #2 (Chris Weeks has it right now, before (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Technic Box #2 Update -shipped (was: Update)

(...) I think there has been a general feeling that one should try and increase the value. One consideration of course is that since value is an inexact science, you probably can't make an even trade, therefore, one should generally err on the side (...) (...) to (...) Eric, When you get the box ready to send, go ahead and send it to Paul. Just make sure he knows its coming. If Daniel surfaces, we can always send it to him later. Thanks to all for the updates. This box has taught us (at least me) a (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)
