  Pictures!

Here are some mix pix! In some ways, there is a bit too much rhyme and reason to the bagging; but that's just how it turned out over the past few years. Some sorting was required while building the sets that the mixes originated from. Some of these (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Addresses

(...) Yeah, those are they're all taken, but jeez: not only is a dedicated domain overkill for something like this, it's a step backwards (fragmentation rather than aggregation). (...) Since it has the same site-wide integration potential as (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: New group...moving forward?

(...) I ought to clarify that a bit -- I'm not offering to write anything to handle this _yet_. I think later it will all fit in nicely with the rest of the infrastructure. (I just can't make it a priority anytime relatively soon.) Having multiple (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Announcement: New jambalya...who wants it?

For that matter, Doug, is there anything you're after? I'm going to dump in a dozen minifigs, unless there are lots in already...maybe some 1x4s And Doug, I'll need your address, too... Paul Sinasohn (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Addresses

I agree that it's not a critical concern for most people. The main advantage is a smooth and reliable system to avoid the redundant and inefficient "someone send me an address" posts. Of course, whenever you implement a system that holds a users (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Addresses

(...) Why? I don't get the concern. I'm more concerned about my email address than my postal address. (...) For different reasons and in different ways I appreciate the idea of having some semi-automated double blind doohicky and also just having no (...)   Re: Announcement: New jambalya...who wants it?

(...) I dunno exactly what I'm expecting, but I am going to drop in at least a few of those conical space rocket tail pieces which other people seem to like. I haven't yet compiled a list of what other pieces I'll be doing; I guess I need to do that (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Announcement: New jambalya...who wants it?

Killer! Jeremy, Mookie, any specific (or general types of) parts you'd like to see in there after I'm through with it? Me, I'm apt to take pieces from every theme and replace them with an equal mishmash. :-) Doug (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Addresses

(...) I'm not so concerned about other LUGNuts, but there is the possibility of a public, centralized address list being exploited by an motivated envelope-stuffer. (...) Wow, that sounds keen. A little bit more work, but not too much. Where would (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Addresses

This is a great Idea, however what we really need is a secure system of getting the recipient address to the sender. Does anyone have any Ideas? I don't think anyone wants a centralized list of mailing addresses to exist. How about this: 1. (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)
