If someone had one or more of the cranes for sale from the 1782 Discovery

Since I scored 4 of these, the question is purely hypothetical, I am
crane-flush... (1)

I would want the critical crane parts as one lot - I think there are four
parts:  two sides, the support beam, and the top horizontal piece.  Those four
parts in one lot would make the most sense to me.  Whether or not you include
the string and winch is not as important.  This is one situation where
breaking it down further may not make sense, IMO.

Agreed. I would call the "support beam" the "link". Note that this
design is fairly standard, it's used in 4565 (in grey) and in 6543 (in
red). All 4 of these pieces should be a unit. The winch, and the hook,
are seperable. I have a crane that uses neither (it has a motorized
winch, and it has container grippers instead of a hook) under
construction.

1 - a large sigh of relief from the crane-bidding population is heard
