If someone had one or more of the cranes for sale from the 1782 Discovery
Station set,

   http://www.lugnet.com/pause/search/?query=1782-1

would you want to buy them as individual elements (broken all the way down
to the bare bones) or as just the critical crane parts, or as the whole
entire gray crane complete with the string and the hook and the winch and
the plates and the tiles and the sloped bricks...?

Absolutely complete. And built, or with a copy of the instructions. BTW, I want one, just don't want to buy the set just for the crane ;-) (...) (26 years ago, 25-Nov-98, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) Assuming you've got more than one set you're breaking up (which is usually the case), why not have lots of varying degrees of completeness? One with a complete crane, plates and tiles and sloped bricks and all; another with just the (...) (26 years ago, 30-Nov-98, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
