If the part was listed as trans-red in someone's store, it would be the right part, but I'd more suspect that part is the small crown which is about the size of a 1x1 cylinder and is normally chrome, but sometimes metallic green. blue, or dark (...) Whoa..wait...sounds like you have two separate items confused.. I also carry individual LEGO Soft bricks in various sizes and colors. Soft bricks ((URL) a stud size equivalent to the Baby/Primo line. FYI, I saw these at LLC last year, they may or may not still have them. I didn't think about using them for grips, though - neat idea.
