Re: Scan of current S@H catalog

(...) Probably in fact can stop you. The TOS is rather clearer on listings that are not really intended to be actually won. If the listing comes out and says you should not buy X because you can get it for less, that's bid siphoning. The closest you (...)   Re: Is S@H the best place to get an infusion of Gray Bricks?

I could only offer the cash renumeration as I doubt there is anything in Australia that you couldn't get in the US or Europe, and alot sooner too. (...) Most of the (...)   Re: New 'Educational' listing on Ebay

(...) Hmm, I guess I need to know numbers for S@H in other countries. Other than that I tried to be as generic as possible (I could lose the Fao-Schwartz reference). Is 800-267-5346 the number for Canada S@H? I saw your list of FAQ questions and (...) (25 years ago, 22-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  New 'Educational' listing on Ebay

I just listed a pamphlet called: 'A Beginners Guide to Purchasing and Collecting LEGO.' It should meet the terms of use for Ebay. The only pertinent section is: 'Listings that sell only minimally valued items (such as catalogs) to advertise non-eBay (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Scan of current S@H catalog

(...) Man, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my entire life. So, technically, I guess this even means that selling a large unopened LEGO set on eBay is verboten, since large LEGO sets contain catalogs that you can actually order from (...)   Re: Scan of current S@H catalog

Ah-Ha! I just found it: (URL) down to catalogs... I guess if the catalog is current, and the bidder can subsequently order items from the catalog then it is forbidden. This is to prevent ebay fee shortcutting. Of course they are ignoring the (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.market.theory)

Re: Scan of current S@H catalog

Actually, current catalogs *are* prohibited, but the intention is to prevent sellers from circumventing the fee structure by selling a catalog cheaply, then having buyers order from the original seller (makes sense to me).
