speaking of the Technic Droideka for $12... the K Mart in New Berlin on
Moorland and National has about 4 or 5 of these as of yesterday.  The
packages are all marked at $40, but they scan at $12.  I don't like this set
enough to get that many of them, but it's a good deal... so if anyone wants
one I bet they still have em.

Got a number on that Droid? do you mean the pit droid?  If so, I might
have to take a little drive tomorrow night :)

not the Pit Droid, the Droideka, also called the Destroyer Droid.
The $50 set is now down to $12.  When I went to the register to check out (I
also got some of those $2.50 Gungan sets) the checker was really surprised
at the price and told me what it was, I think she was expecting me to run
back and pick up the others, but I told her that I scanned it already and
knew the price, but thanked her.

would want to replace 70% of the set :(  Needless to say, I'm looking
much closer now when it comes to clearance items.

yeah... is it just me, or does K Mart have an unusually high amount of box
rifling going on?  I find a little of at TRU on 27th, and a tiny amount at
Walmart, but almost KMart I go to has ripped boxes all over  :(

Lets keep up the good work on letting others know about deals :) it's
nice when you know you've got a better chance of getting something!

np... I'll keep doing my part, and I definately appreciate the favor returned!

cheers!

(...) I see that as well. The Kmart in West Allis had a 7141 with about 20% of the parts still in the box. I didn't bother to scan it. I guess narrow, cluttered, ignored aisles invite that kind of thing. ;-( (...) returned! (...) Well, since I saw (...) (23 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.us.wi.mil)

(...) I can tell you I cleaned out the K-mart in Oconomowoc today, got 5 Gungan Patrols for 2.50 each. They didn't have anything else left, and like you, I had to scan them to find out they were on clearance. Nothing marking them at all, and still (...)
