In lugnet.loc.us.oh, David Lairson writes: <snipped> (...) I don't think that any of us are "normal", it's just not wrong. I tell my wife that at least playing with LEGO is creative.   Re: Any Lugneters in Ohio, specifically around or near Dayton?

(...) Joel, Thanks for the reply. I think it would be good to maybee try and get something together. I keep trying to show my wife that a man who collects and plays with lego's is somewhat normal. And by normal I mean that other people do it. ;) In (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

Re: Any Lugneters in Ohio, specifically around or near Dayton?

(...) Welcome to .oh, David! The Dayton group hasn't seen any use, so it's hard to tell if anyone may be lurking around. Most who post in the .oh subgroups tend to be either from the Columbus or Cleveland areas, with Cleveland being probably the (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

Any Lugneters in Ohio, specifically around or near Dayton?

Hi, I was just looking to see if there were any lugneters in or near the Dayton, Ohio area? I was looking to join a LUG if there was one, or at least just have a get together of like minded people. Heck, I would be willing to travel so far as to (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  US Women's Soccer team

If anyone cares/is looking for them -- Family Toy (no longer FT Warehouse it seems) @ Tuttle Crossing has them in for $10.   Is this anyone's kid?

Well, I had to walk in Hilliard's 4th of July parade because I am a Parks & Rec. employee and something really small caught my interest. A little kid, maybe 6 or 7 years old, was collecting candy in a Legoland Carlsbad plastic bag. I have no idea (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col, lugnet.people)

Re: New sculpture: Geoffrey the Giraffe

(...) Hey, it's still a cool work, and I learned a lot on building big big sculptures, so it wasn't a total waste. I'll likely tear it apart and build something cooler with it if they don't.   Re: New sculpture: Geoffrey the Giraffe

I sure hope that they buy it! Would really suck to do all that work and have them not buy it! What are they hoping will happen in the two hours that it is displayed?   Re: New sculpture: Geoffrey the Giraffe

I forgot to mention this, but this sculpture will be on display at my local Toys'R'Us on June 23rd from 1-3, as a test to see if they want to buy it, in which case it'll be permanently installed at that location.   TRU closeout sale.

Since I don't get the paper, I don't know if TRU as a whole is having a closeout sale right now or not, but as my wife and I were heading home last night from running about, I noticed that the W.
