I found the exact same items at the outlet mall in northern Michigan. I got lucky though. I found 6 6024's! Bar code truck, too. I have NEVER seen so many of the same set as that little Aquanauts dart thing. $1 for a minifig ain't half bad... Eric (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.syr)

Interesting finds at the outlet mall...

Re: Is there interest in a new LUG?

Speaking for myself, Saturday afternoon or evening would be easier for me to attend. Not having to worry about getting up early for work makes for more enjoyment. Even if the event didn't run too late, there is still the drive home to consider. I (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nj, lugnet.loc.us.ny, lugnet.loc.us.pa)

Re: Is there interest in a new LUG?

I just thought I would chime in here quickly. I know you noted in your first post that all followups would be to .loc.us.nj but I would suggest keeping NY and Phi in the list that way you are sure everyone gets it. I would also suggest adding (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nj, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny, lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi, lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi.all, lugnet.org.us)

Re: Is there interest in a new LUG?

Well, I don't think that we really need to worry about a name until we actually manage to get a group together. BUT, having said that, I would cast a vote for one of the suggestions made by Bryan Kinkel in the following post: (URL) would be the (...) Goody, Chris is volunteering his house for a meeting. Here's my view on the questions Chris lists: 1. Our purpose is to have fun with Lego. This would include bringing it with you and all the things that makes possible. 2. Who: well, NELUG opened (...)
