Serves me right, asking for feedback when I didn't give any.

I think your train is great. It looks very professional, as in the Lego set
designs that I admire.

Do you think a coal car between the engine and the passenger car would be in
keeping with the theme? It would give the engineer something to do with the
shovel.

What's the black and white thing on top of the back of the first passenger
car? Is that the owl?

I like the plate fixed to the rear wheel of the first car, but it might be
more 'trainlike' to have this attached to the the front wheel of the engine.

There's a couple of technic plugs in the wheels of the rear car. Do they do
something, or are they just decoration?

I like the tiny cat and the huge mice, and the monkey on the roof of the
rear car. Also a very creative smokestack. Nice use of parts. I like the
decorated bricks and slopes as well.

And thank you for the FAQ feedback. The posts you referenced are exactly the
kind of thing I'm looking for.

Very nice!

I too am creating ftx stuff, by recycling long-forgotten tidbits from
lugnet.faq.

Please take a look at my prototype at http://www.lugnet.com/~330/FAQ/

Let me know what you think. (You'll be the first.)

Hi Cary.

I looked at your prototype fairly soon after your original post.  You have
been busy since then.  Lots more there now. I am happy to have another • easy to
read, well organized resource.  What a help to have someone pull • everything
together.  I look forward to even more info.  thank you!

I'm sure others have checked it out also, but may have been like me a bit • to
frazzled to post.

Indirectly, you are one of the ones responsible for my attempting a .ftx • page.
I read every post I see from a NC person (regardless of whether it is on a
topic I understand or not).  It was in an exchange you had with Todd that • I
learned that I could view other pages in the "ftx language?".  Having more
examples to follow gave me the push to at least start - eliminated some of • my
excuses...

My first thought before I saw the topic of your page was- great! I am • finally
going to get to see how the  big Yellow  Arts(?) building turned out. • Your
FAQ page is good enough that  I am going to forgive you for not having a
picture of it available yet! ;-)  I saw your Monorail at Brickshelf.... • what
can I say... some thing are beyond words...
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/cary/monorail/mono.jpg
I would like to see a picture of it in front to the yellow building. • Would be
good contrast between the yellow and black... :-)

I am curious to know what you think about my Fabulandish train?/trolley? • FV55.
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=1589
I know its not "really" a train (or is only one in the same way as the • Twisted
Time Train, from which it originated, is which is hardly at all....)
