That's cool! Nice work, Sheree!
These are all MOCs, I take it?

thanks.
mocs... yeah sort of... for the fv55 train? I started with a Twisted Time
Train 6497 and just kept  fiddling.... still changing it...already different
from the pics.... I think better because of input from Cary Clark on how to
make it more trainish.

As for any other Fabuland type creations, well they are "originals" because I
put them together from scavenged misc. loose elements.   I began mixing FL
elements with system to fill in what I didn't have - making do with what I
did/do have.  (Complete FL sets are hard to come by and it is reflected in the
prices they sell for when one is lucky enough to even have the opportunity to
bid on/buy one.)      I am beginning to thing this is not a bad thing....   A
little FL seems to go a long way - only a handful of FL elements can change
the tone of a construction into a FL creation.

About the train - I like the way you used the trellis' piece. Were those
existant in Fabuland, or are they from the fairy BV sets?

The Trellis piece originated in Fabuland- mainly amusement park type sets like
3676, 3683,and 3798. It came in 2 colors in FL- white, and yellow .  It is
also in both red and white in the new Mickey sets.  The ones in fv55 are from
Belville 5824.  It's the cheapest way I know to get 3, plus I like the
carrots, cherries and the other white fence pieces in this set too.
