  Re: Lego sales?

(...) Keep in mind this is not advertised at the store! I didn't know it would happen, and was pleasantly surprised at checkout. If I wasn't in a rush, I would have picked up some more. (...) Ah! I didn't know the Mars Rover was on sale! *blink (...) (22 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

  Re: Lego sales?

Now that may be worth a trip! Hope there is some left when I get there - for the same price ;-) I hope the folks interested in Trains have used the deal that Mike Walsh advertised recently! Doing the math it seems like the cheapest way to get train (...) (22 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.loc.us.co, lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

  Re: Lego sales?

Oh, hey. I was at the King Soopers at Sheridan and 20th (well, 18th, it's a big shopping area). They had the little 100-piece Creator tubes there for three bucks... but when I checked out with my supercard, they only charged me thirty cents! (I (...)   Re: Lego sales?

(...) Well Ram, I think you about covered it for inexpensive buys. The thing I do is check out the ads in the Sunday paper. Sometimes there is something worth getting excited about. So, what type of MOCs are you into? I'm into Space myself. Would (...) (22 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.loc.us.co, lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

  Lego sales?

Hi All! I am a newbie AFOL in the Boulder area. I am in the process of discovering the various ways of getting cheap Legos.   Re: Did the Denver store get a Duplo Promo brick?

When I went by they didn't have any. I didn't specifically ask if they had any Promo bricks, but I did ask if they were going to have anything I couldn't get in Toys r Us and they pretty much said no. -john, humorless toad jcfiala523@hotmail.com (...)   Did the Denver store get a Duplo Promo brick?

I have been on the lookout for a Duplo Promotional brick from the opening, like the other stores get. My friend who is local is to shy to ask if they have them, lol.   Re: We're got a lego store! [Denver]

I was able to check out the LEGO store before I headed over to Jillians. All new sets, all at retail, some T-shirts and maybe some other non brick accessories :/ Well the mall is cool so I would come down to see the mall. (...) (23 years ago, 16-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

Re: We're getting a lego store! [Denver]

(...) Not really. They've got the same stuff that most toy stores can get, without even any train sets. The only really 'cool' thing is the selection of lego pens. It's alright if you're in the area anyway, but it's nothing to travel to Denver for. (...) (23 years ago, 16-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

Re: We're getting a lego store! [Denver]

I got a sneak peak of the LEGO store yesterday, Nov 10 (four days before the mall opens). I got to eat at the "Chilis Too" restaurant as I was invited for a mock dinner.   Re: We're getting a lego store!

(...) Serious suggestion to you AFOLs in the Denver area -- consider getting a part-time job at the LEGO store. Employee discounts are *very* fun... <grin> JohnG, GMLTC (former part-time employee at the Mall of America LEGO Imagination Center) (23 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)
