  Re: Get together?

(...) Congrats on the wedding Joel. My wife would have been ecstatic if we could have been married in Australia. She spent 10 days there after she graduated from high school and has wanted to go back ever since. I've been wondering why this group (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

  Re: Get together?

Hello, I've kind of wondered how many AFOL's were in the Front Range area. I must admit, I've felt a bit jelous when I read about the big LEGO get-togethers that take place in various parts of the country. I'd be up for something, but I'm not sure (...)   Re: Get together?

(...) OK that sounds good. I had just planned on bringing a couple of the creations that I have built at the moment, maybe a little trading fodder too. Any suggestions as to where, or should we wait for more input? I will offer the use of my house, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

  Re: Get together?

(...) Count me in, as long as we meet somewhere in the Denver/Colorado Springs area. Also, it would be cool to meet with some kind of organized purpose, like everyone bringing a MOC from a certain theme, stuff for trade, etc. Maybe we can email some (...)   Get together?

I count 22 LUGNET members, including myself, calling Colorado home. Is anyone willing to have a get-together? -Duane (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

Re: Lots of 50% off stuff at Target

(...) Ya, I've been eyeing the whole classic train line myself. Being a space head, I'm not sure why those sets are so appealling. I too thought about going to Brickswest, but finances are a little sparse at the moment. I would rather spend the (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)

Re: Lots of 50% off stuff at Target

(...) I checked a couple of Target stores again last night and it looks like they are all void of clearance LEGO now. I've been enjoying the train, but I'm a little afraid of what I've gotten myself into. Now I need more track, the new S@H train (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)

Re: Lots of 50% off stuff at Target

(...) I've just recently gotten into trains myself - my wife got me the metroliner for xmas - but made the mistake of getting the regulator through S@H, when I should have gotten it through brickbay. My mistake. But I was pretty happy with building (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)

Lots of 50% off stuff at Target

The other night I visited the Target near Tinseltown here in the Springs and was pleased to find a LOT of LEGO at 50% off. It is scattered among the clearance aisles, with some of it on the ends of aisles. There were a lot of the value packs (Mars (...)   Re: Area Report

You beat me to it! I stopped this morning at a Walmart in Fort Collins (College and Harmony, if anybody cares), and picked up the Cloud Car and Final Duels 1 & 2. They also had the Technic Darth Vader and Jedi Defense 1. Happy hunting! -Joel (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

  Area Report

Here in Colorado Springs, Colorado, set 7200, Final Duel 1 is available at the Target on Union and Academy. While the set itself is not that exciting, it is the first of the 2002 Star Wars sets available in the area... it's also a cheap source of (...)   Re: 2002 sets found in CO.

Yes, I'm replying to my own post, but I forgot to list a few items yesterday. K-mart also has LEGO watches in a little display in one of the main ailes. They had several Bionicle and Creator watches, and at least one Life on Mars watch. I'm going to (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

(...) Thanks, Joel. I'm afraid I'm not a fan of Racers or Alpha Team, but it's good to hear things are coming. -john, humorless toad jcfiala523@hotmail.com ___...___ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. (URL) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

  2002 sets found in CO.

Greetings to whoever still reads this group... I just stopped at the K-mart in Fort Collins, and found a few 2002 sets. They have three of the new Racers sets, 4583, 4593, and 4594, and the Alpha Team Mutant Squid, 4796. Unfortunatly, I didn't see (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

Lego on sale at outlet stores

Hi all. My wife and I went shopping at the outlet stores up at Loveland. In that shopping center there is a store called 'Toy Liquidators' which is basically everything that KB Toys hasn't been able to sell. This time around there was some decent (...)   Re: A Colorado Get-Together (Was: Re: How about a Brickfest West?)

I'm all for car-pooling, if anyone needs it. I'm up north so I can pick up people as I come through town. As far as a time table, I would recommend September sometime after the holiday weekend. I don't have solid plans on that weekend, but my hunch (...) (23 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

Re: A Colorado Get-Together (Was: Re: How about a Brickfest West?)

(...) I thought I'd posted that I was interested, but maybe I screwed it up. In any case, I'd like to get together, and maybe Duane and I could car-pool down. On the other hand, if we're meeting at Castle Rock, maybe I can bring my wife along, and (...) (23 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

Re: A Colorado Get-Together (Was: Re: How about a Brickfest West?)

(...) September is fine for me... so far. I was hoping that there would be others speaking up as well. I *know* that there more AFOLs (or maybe just FOLs) than just the two of us. (...) I don't mind making the trip to the Springs. It's not too bad (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

  Re: Cheap Lego in Colorado

(...) Hi :-) (...) The Wal*Marts here in the Springs have had some similar prices, nothing to get me too excited though. (...) The Wal*Marts here have TONS of Racers, and I haven't seen them on sale yet. The small Studio sets were on sale too, but (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co)
