I recently posted that I have a lot of monorail track, supports, and many Classic Space baseplates I could bring for a large setup and I was wondering how many people would be interested in that (and possibly participating?). FWIW, the Oakland (Fruitvale Station) MacFrugal's had about 6 8213s and 20 6589s left in the store this morning at 9:30 A lady came in a couple of days ago and bought a large number of sets from that store...will anyone here admit to it? Hi Fred, 8213 is spy runner, a GREEN technic F1 type car (bought 2, lots left) 6589 is radical racer, a off road car with a brown plastic ravine (bought 0, lots left) They also had a few 8232 chopper force, technic play helocopter, 220 pc. for $15. Beats paying full retail, and if you want more than one, and they have them, it might be worth not waiting since 8213 is green! :-) I don't if I'd get the 6589 just yet, unless (...) I am unavailable on the 14th. I'll be in Martinez the whole day, so I vote for the 7th. But I guess whoever starts these things should just decide and the heck with everybody else. Well, if there are two train clubs, more the better for me. Besides, imagine the statewide meetings (maybe once a year?)... They would be HUGE! Either date is fine with me. I'd really like the August date to be in Fremont as I plan on bringing a ton of Town stuff to that meeting.
