I did not go to the last get together, but I wanted to very badly, so all of you don't know me from Adam, but here's my $.25.. I think either baylug.org or sfbaylug.org is perfect because: 1) they are intuitive urls; 2) "L" is for Lego, which is at (...) (26 years ago, 17-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Or ask Lego if it's ok to include their name? Seems to me that they'd prefer not to acknowledge the existence of "plug-compatible" bricks. [techie allusion intended] (...) Why? The others aren't nearly as good as the original. Do you have a (...) (26 years ago, 16-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Points made in prior messages: (1) "users group" term too techish (2) "Lego" word might be trademark problem I agree with these points. Besides, I think it's reasonable to include other brands of building bricks instead of restricting the discussion (...) (26 years ago, 16-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Danger, long post. These are my comments on the Club/Group ideas: Of course they are all my own twisted opinions. ;-) FWIW. (...) I'm not too concerned with the name. baylug is fine. (...) One thing maybe worth considering is how the name is likely to be pronounced... BayLUG or BAYLUG would most certainly be pronounced BAY-lug by anyone who sees it.
