    Where is everyone? —Huw Millington
It's awfully quiet in here... I never got round to posting the URL to my TVLF pictures due to lugnet being down (for NNTP posts) just afterwards: (URL) the next one? I am sure we can squeeze one in before Christmas. Who was it that suggested one in (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Where is everyone? —Simon Bennett
(...) Certainly has. (...) I second that, mainly because I've got some stuff worth bringing now. I've been working on some railway buildings and a rendition of an EWS Class 66 (unfortunately I have no train stuff so it's only modelled from the (...) I seem to have a terrible memory for names these days, I'll have to write them all down at the event itself next time (...) (23 years ago, 13-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Where is everyone? —Tony Priestman
As I'm still not in contact with my LEGO, I haven't got much to say :( I should only be homeless for a couple more weeks, though :-) But the house I'm living in is gradually being assimilated; There's LEGO in four of the rooms now. I'll have to move (...) (23 years ago, 13-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Where is everyone? —Steffan Davies
Well I've been sick-as-a-parrot and BT Connect have seriously messed up my internet connection! A word of sagely advice....NEVER use any of BT's internet packages (check out the Watchdog scoop on www.bbc.co.uk). A bunch of retarded monkeys running (...)          Re: Where is everyone? (OT) —Scott Arthur
(...) Indeed. I read yesterday that their joint venture with AT&T has just been pulled at a cost of £500,000,000.00. Why? Because both AT&T and BT were in direct competition with their own joint venture (Concert)! Scott A (...) (23 years ago, 15-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) bunch (...) That'll be the same bunch at BT who took 6 weeks to get my line sorted properly. They had to pay me almost £300 compensation. I have never seen such incompetence and counter-productive policies in all my life. They out-source the (...) (23 years ago, 21-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Possible Essex Legofest (Was: Where is everyone?) —Paul Cook
(...) It was me who suggested Essex, but I'm not sure whether I can get organised enough to sort one out before Christmas. Although I'm right next to a motorway (well, dual carriageway really) it is a long way out. It takes about 50 minutes to drive (...) (23 years ago, 17-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Possible Essex Legofest (Was: Where is everyone?) —Gael Frazier
Sound good for me. I have a preference for the 24th. Can we have a RCX big event this time ? I like trains... but don't have any Space classic : yes but it will be nicer to have a big layout instead of just some space-ships in lines. I'm quite sure (...)         Re: Possible Essex Legofest (Was: Where is everyone?) —Simon Bennett
(...) I could make the 24th too. But should we guard against a north-south divide? I'd hate to miss a chance to see some of our northern AFOLs' stuff. I might be able to make it up to Southport if we got a big carpool together and there was (...) (23 years ago, 17-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Possible Essex Legofest (Was: Where is everyone?) —Jason J. Railton
(...) I agree with Simon. I was impressed by all the northern folk who made it down to Gosport earlier in the year, and I think Tony was caught off-gaurd by the number of people who got up to Cheshire. I have to admit I probably won't be going up to (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Possible Essex Legofest CANCELLED (Was: Where is everyone?) —Paul Cook
(...) I agree about the split so I've decided to call it off for this year. Of course it depends on availability of the hall, but January sounds a bit cold to me. How about July? Cheers, Paul. (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Possible Essex Legofest CANCELLED (Was: Where is everyone?) —Paul Cook
Sorry guys, this isn't going to happen. Something has come up in November and I'm not going to have time to organise it. Maybe next year. (...) Plus it is too close to Southport. I don't want to steal anyone's thunder. I can't make it to Southport (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)
