It seems the people at Velux are very eager, as the email fragment below
shows. Before I discovered the cash problems I was trying to get hold of
three, and although I was trying to organise the mass purchase due to the
cost of the exchange they've gone ahead and sent them to me...

Dear Mr Anderson

I have just heard from our forwarding department and they have told me • that the
3 lego houses has been sent.

Due to the expense you can send them by cash in GBP to us. Our bank is • Unibank
A/S, Storkundeafdelingen, 0900  København C. Our account no. 5005 189 702.

I do not hope this will give you any troubles.

With kind regards Anette Englund

So I'm not sure what to do regarding the mass purchase I was trying to
organise. What it does suggest is that everybody who wants them should be
able to pay in UK money, though. If you want to email Anette for
info/organisation her address is ae.mac@velux.com and as you can see, her
english is alright.

So - sorry about this. It is, however, extremely useful information (I
think!)

Steve

Hello all I'm trying to organise the purchase of some 1854s directly from Velux - the company has pointed me toward their online shop in Denmark. However, although the cost of the sets is fine - somewhere around £8.50 each, including shipping to the (...) (24 years ago, 2-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
