Indeed I was - an almost ideal way to spend lunch. In the end the score with
the kids and adults was :
Small Animals 1
Lego Trains 5
David is a brave man allowing hyperactive 5 year olds full control of is
trains. While I was there were numerous derailments (accompanied by ooohs and
aaahs from the kids), but thankfully none made it as far as the foor.
Being taken up to warp speed were 4558, 4547, 4559, 4564, 7745 (cut down 9v
conversion) and a few MOCs. It is fair to say that the MOCs were the favorites
with the kids. Some buildings (2150, 4555, etc & some MOCs) were also on show
along with a "Lego trains through the ages" display.
