Yep. I acquired a taste for Newkie a few years back when I was on a project
with a chap from Newcastle. I know some in the UK don't consider it a proper
beer but I'm a wus and find Guinness a bit too strong for my palate.

Guiness is traditionally Irish although it was invented by 2 Londoners.

I had a screensaver he gave me that was basically a bottle of broon sliding
across and crashing, followed by the sound of someone crying. IIRC.

The Guiness screensaver is quality, some bloke staring at the pint from every
angle with the infamous music - you'd have had to have seen the advert to get
it.

I don't drink 'real beer', I drink chemical based lager.

One only has to spend a small amount of time in Europe away from this rubbish
to know how bad it is for you. The average Euro-Lager both tastes better, and
does not give you a chemical induced hangover. I am sure I read that a
Euro-Lager has just 4 ingredients (one is water), whist a UK lager has over 50!
