I remember this car - it started a mini furore about badging and highlighted
some interesting, if not strictly watertight cases where RR tried to stop
someone using their 'luxury car' as a delivery van....How much did the owner
pay again?...

Ps - that Merlin-engined car has been joined by a part-merlin engined bike (2
cylinders off the end of the 12 block). I cannot recall if it was actually
badged as a RR but the bike resides in Australia (I think) so may have escaped
this draconion law anyway.
Having said that, you might as well put VW badges on a RR these days..
