I have only returned from my 'dark ages' since early 1998. Since then I have
noticed a decline in general availablity which has accelerated recently. LEGO
may be claiming extra sales but does that mean one Mindstorms set at £160 is a
greater 'sale' than ten system kits at £15? - think of how valuable that shelf
space is now.
It's a real shame - January/February is usually a good time to pick up
discontinued sets on offer.
