The TRU today had the Technic advanced motor bundled with a
technic dune buggy for £33 which I thought was quite cheap
as the motor alone was £27.

(...) I find TRU can yield an occasional bargin. Here in Toronto I came across a few good deals at TRU. I picked up the Technic 3038 [CyberSlam Spider attack?] for 38$ CDN [ about 25 to 30$ US].. it was opened but everything was intact in their (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
