  Technic Bargain
 
The TRU today had the Technic advanced motor bundled with a technic dune buggy for £33 which I thought was quite cheap as the motor alone was £27. Michael Pratt (25 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) True, the TRU in Dufferin Mall (?) had lots of Fort LEGOredo for $50+tax (~£25) a while back, along with some generally older looking stuff. It's hit Northwich in Cheshire...three years ago there was one independent shop plus Woolies and the ELC. Now the Indepebdant shop has closed and the other two have cleared their shelves of Lego.
