    re-What is happening to LEGO in UK +others —David Graham
   LEGO like other toys has been in decline in the UK for some years. I remember just a few years ago Woolworths having several aisles of LEGO, now there is only one shelf.      (...) In my area (thames valley) things arent quite so bad. Entertainer, Camberley or Reading - did decline but seems to have got more shelf space back at xmas, but mainly to the large amounts of discontinued sets. They have all the 2000 stuff, but (...)      (...) I agree. Have been to toy shops in Germany, Austria and Holland in the last 12 months and they seem to have healthy stocks of lego. Especially train which has disappeared in UK.
