I can talk about this all night - But I'm watching Serpico tonight. Since
you were young, some things have changed:
1. Kids
2. Society,and the way it treats kids.
3. They way toys are marketed and designed
4. Local retail structure.
All 4 are interrelated. Take a look at almost any average to, the design
life is a fraction of what it would have been a few years ago...

| LEGO like other toys has been in decline in the UK for some years. I remember just a few years ago Woolworths having several aisles of LEGO, now there is only one shelf. I didn't think K'nex would last but is has and is more readily available. There (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
