Even the basic brick boxes are extortionate in price. 20 quid
for 848 pieces? Compared to normal sets, not bad, but I am
sure everyone remembers 1857, 950 piece value box, for 13.75?

| (...) I agree. Have been to toy shops in Germany, Austria and Holland in the last 12 months and they seem to have healthy stocks of lego. Especially train which has disappeared in UK. I dont think my personal preferences for lego are much to go by, (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
