    UK 2000? —Richard Franks
    Any wild guesses as to what will and won't be in the UK catalogue? What about Futbol - as we got the soccer sets they may decide not to release it over here! Richard (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

     I am hoping to see more Technic's for the 2000 release The new Slizers, they have a disk on the front as a wheel? I am not to keen on the slammers 8236,8237,8238.      (...) By European I was including the UK. Most Euro catalogues show 90% the same product ranges. This year the most comprehensive (that I have) was the German which was thicker that ours and included Scala, Mindstorms, software, spares and all the (...)       So when do we think some 2000 models will come out in UK I remeber last year i brought an 8251 on Christmas eve.       I get the feeling that the 1998 soccer sets were a success and that prompted TLG/TLC (or whatever they refer to themselves as now) to introduce Futbol.       Hi Guys, Why is everyone calling it Futbol anway? It s the plain translation of the original name Voetbal in Dutch, Fussball in German.
