Here, yes, since it is only available from LEGO outlets, but in France and
Belgium for example, where I have looked this year, it is sold alongside
regular sets in most toy shops.
In contrast, you are lucky even to see Belville in shops round this way.
Girls presumably don't want LEGO in the UK, or like my oldest daughter, want
regular sets like Pirates and Adventurers.
I saw a programme on TV recently about targeting ads for Children. I think
they said that girls in the UK 'grow up' much quicker in the UK than the US,
for example. Perhaps this has some bearing on it.
