(...) OK, the monorail it is then (it may have grown by then as I have two more trains in the post!) I'll map it out again tonight and indicate where 16x16 baseplates (or multiples for 16x32, 32x23 and 48x48) would reasonably fit if other people (...) (22 years ago, 13-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

(...) I was planning to be there the whole day so don't mind voluntering for part of the day to man a table. The only problem I can see with this is what money belongs to who at the end of the day. One system I've seen used at NCT bring-and-buy (...) (22 years ago, 13-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

(...) I can bring along several locos, though I've only got so many motors. Rather than try and cram everything on to the layout, I'd prefer to just see a few running trains on the layout (say, a few concentric and passing loops), and display all (...) (22 years ago, 13-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

That's great that you have some things to bring along. The monorail especially would look even better if it were displayed with buildings, roads, etc. Could people please let me know if they have anything they can bring, even if it is only some (...) (22 years ago, 13-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) If anyone could get me a couple I would be very grateful, I would then send payment to you + postage. I have seen them in Tescos up north, but they are all £69.99. Maybe it is a Southern thing!!! Michael (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Brief LLW shopping report

They are strange prices considering the Loco & coaches are both 26.99 at shop at home - plus postage! You are lucky the you live close to LLW, not so good if you are in Scotland.   Re: Train roof 6x6 in new colors?

(...) I agree - I'm glad to have picked up some rare parts, and to swap them between us, but I think trying to profit from these parts is a sure way to ruin the relationship between the fans and LLW. Jason J Railton (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.uk)
