Hi guys,

Any tips on mlcad ?
I find I'm too slow to get going i.e. it requires too much effort ;)
a lot of it seems wasted, mis-positioning etc
I've put  together a few simple models but it seemed to take forever
so I gave up. Any quick tips to save time?

Ronan,

I recently started using MLCad myself. I too found it a little tough to • get
started. I actually make sure that I sit down with a completely or • somewhat
built model. This helps me to visual what I am making on the screen.

I would also make sure that you have downloaded the latest version of • MLCad
(v. 2.3), as it has a much better positioning system from what I can tell.
There are also some other great features.

I would say just keep plugging away at it. The learning curve is kinda • steep
at first, but once you get over the hump, it becomes really easy. I have
actually made using MLCad part of my standard design process now!
