I agree LEGO has done us a great disservice by closing down S@H Canada. </RANT> On a side note has anyone had to pay duty (aside from GST and Canpost fee) on packages recieved ? It really depends on the bank and your credit. I have two accounts at different banks. At Canada Trust, they want to hold US cheques for 30 business days -- that's nearly a month and a half when you factor in weekends and the odd holiday. This even (...) (25 years ago, 25-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

(...) I did some digging on US Cheques in Canadian banks before I started selling on ebay. Some Banks hold the cheques for 30 days! If you don't have a US account set up they can hold it for that long. It takes 3 times the time to ensure that a (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)
