Borderfree (was Re: eToys no longer ships to Canada!)

I just placed a couple of orders through Borderfree. One with eToys and the other with Amazon. I was recently trying to find the Lego Team Transport with the mini-soccer ball but had no luck. Etoys had them available for $13US. I placed a smallish (...) (24 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Is the Flare Throwbot discontinued?

(...) Hi Bradley, I don't live in the US so I can't tell you which toy chain might still carry these. However, browsing shop.lego.com (with a US shopping basket of course) I found out that you can still order all 12 Slizers but the Amazon one. Flare (...)   Is the Flare Throwbot discontinued?

Flare is the only one I still need, but I can't find him. This thing was released only a year ago, so why has it disappeared already? The Flare Throwbots were very, very common sets last November and December. Does anyone know where I might find one (...) (24 years ago, 11-Feb-01, to lugnet.technic.slizer, lugnet.loc.ca.on)

  Upcoming Sales

I read a flyer from the Bay that said 20% off all toys, but didn't see the dates on it, I assume it is this weekend, as I got the flyer earlier in the week. Also, TRU apparently has all of the Lego buckets and tubs at 25% off, from Feb.10 to Feb. (...) (24 years ago, 10-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: bucket not found in database

(...) I've never seen this bucket, but I have seen the other 3 "limited Edition 35 yr anniversary" buckets & tubs. All are (IIRC) 1998, in purple containers rather than the more common red or blue, and Canada-only. There is a larger Freestyle tub w/ (...)   Re: bucket not found in database

(...) I've taken a closer look to get the details: The year is 1998. It says a "35th Anniversary" on a badge printed on the front, next to a banner that says "Limited Edition." It has two minifigs: One is a smiley, white torso with a fat vertical (...) (24 years ago, 9-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Soccer Ball

Doesn't seem anyone seen them :-( So I'll take Kevin's advice and repost.
