I just placed a couple of orders through Borderfree.  One with eToys and the
other with Amazon.

I was recently trying to find the Lego Team Transport with the mini-soccer
ball but had no luck.  Etoys had them available for $13US.  I placed a
smallish order (~$100Cdn) because of my fear that eToys is going under in
April.

Borderfree is currently has a couple of promotions:
  1) new users get free shipping on their first order
  2) free shipping from Amazon

Anywho, it seems like a very good deal, and I'm anxiosly awaiting the orders
to arrive.  Too bad I missed all the good deals earlier in the year.

TJ

PS  No, I don't work for Borderfree either.

Hello,

I've ordered from eToys a few times.  The first time was directly from
eToys. After that I always used borderfree.com to make the purchases • because
shipping was always a bit less than directly from eToys.  Borderfree is a
broker service for US purchases.  I use them to purchase from places that
won't ship to Canada (Walmart.com, etc.).  Works pretty well and you don't
have to worry about whether the vendor ships to Canada.

Go to www.borderfree.com for details...and no I do not work for • borderfree.
I just find it very convenient.

Bob

Well I was very sad to see my last order cancelled, especially in light of
the much reduced prices.  Of course there was no reason given on the order
details screen and since I've ordered 3 times before I called to see why. • A
very nice lady at their service number 1-800-GO-ETOYS informed me that • they
no longer ship to Canada.  She was not sure why...although I suspect they
were losing too much on shipping.  (especially when you can order as much • as
you want and still have a max shipping charge of $35.00).

In any case, anyone who has an outstanding order with eToys may or may not
get it fulfilled.  She indicated the last day things will physically be • sent
out to Canada will be the 15th... although she still could not get my • order
un-cancelled (is that a word?).

Just thought I'd let you know.
-Jeff

p.s.  Thanks Kevin for the Bay info... I'm $1400.00 poorer but have a lot • of
great Lego to show for it. ($8.24 for a 3051 :-)
