Joint NALUG-VLC show? (was: Re: Supertrain - I plan to go)

This is a long shot, but hey, I'll try anything... Would anyone in VLC be interested in helping us with a layout at the Supertrain show in Calgary (Feb 17-18)? NALUG has been invited, but not all of us can attend. The real need just one more person (...) Does anyone know any stores that have the large 1200 blue tubs? Preferable on sale (Zellers) but I'll take anywhere... Thanks Dean -- Coin-Op's For Sale!: (URL) Lego Workshop: (URL) Lego Club: (URL) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc, lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van)

  RE: ZNAP sale

(...) The 3571 has the motor, battery box, cable, and two flex shafts. The flex shafts are the best part, IMHO. ZNAP will be reissued in a few years I'm sure, once they've designed better mating to standard Technic. Cheers, Ralph Hempel - P.Eng (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.on)

  ZNAP sale

G'Day In todays Toronto Star there is an insert from a company called Party Packagers, that I have not heard of before, but they advertise a ZNAP building set for 2.99 (can not tell which set) and a motorized set (looks like 3571) for $14.99, which (...)   Re: Bluewater? (was Re: new LIC in Chicago

(...) Bluewater is actually an out-of-town shopping centre in Kent, about 20 miles to the east (and a little south) of the centre of the city of London, which in case the reference to Kent didn't give it away, isn't the one in Ontario.   Re: Shop at Home Online

Whatever happened to the guys who came to GETS2000 and were AFOLs? Has any of them contacted anyone of us (NALUG) yet? They might be able to assist with Calgarty.
