Re: Specials at K-Mart and Big W

Yeah, Tom I think it does. Her name is Rhonda Weego. She is very proper by day, but likes to swing at night. <ducks wiffle bat, runs> ;John (...) (25 years ago, 12-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per, lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.off-topic.pun)

(...) I haven't seen that flick but does the set come with a female minifig? -Tom McD. when replying, be advised that some "foam fingers" may be made out of spamcake. (25 years ago, 12-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) One of the supermarkets around here had the name of 2849 misspelled -- they gave it as "Gynocopter." For anyone who's seen the movie _Dead_Ringers_ with Jeremy Irons, this is quite a scary name. --Todd (25 years ago, 12-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

The tins contain about 700 grams of biscuits, and 1 of the following sets: 2849 'gyrocopter' 2880 open top jeep 2884 'microlight' 2886 racing car All sets are in boxes, and a sticker on the tin lid shows which set is included. The tins themselves (...) (25 years ago, 12-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per)

Re: Specials at K-Mart and Big W

Hi Jamie, I've been building more than buying lately! Haven't noticed any sales advertised on TV for toys/Lego, just manchester and undies! What's this about a Lego Cookie tin? This is the first I've heard about it. Where did you see it? -Braith. (...) (25 years ago, 12-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per)

  Hotrod pics

Hi folks, Got a sec? Check out my Hotrod renderings created using Ldraw and Pov-ray. The images are a little grainy but you can see most of the detail.   Re: What do you store your Lego in?

(...) As long as the plastic of the storage container is softer than Lego then I think it's OK. The Lego will scratch the container rather than the container scratching your Lego! Build on. Braith. (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per)

Re: What do you store your Lego in?

(...) All of my Lego was stored in 2 and 5 litre plastic ice cream containers when I was younger. I started with a bucket for each colour, until it became hard to find pieces amongst the black elements. I still use a few for holding minifigs, (...)   Re: What do you store your Lego in?

(...) Yep, same one, and it works out to about US$11.00 (AUS$17.00). Could be a sales tax issue but I don't know enough about it to make much of a comment. (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per)

Hi Braith you write: (...) $17 for the 3700 ? ouch! here in the US they sell for $3.97 at Walmart. This is the 2 " depth translucent plastic tray right? I must say I am surprised at the price difference. The storage system I have been developing (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per)

Re: What do you store your Lego in?

Thanks for the info guys. A system of drawers is a good idea for a dedicated Lego room. I wanted a system that was semi-portable as well, hence the tackle boxes. I like to be able to take a collection of useful/fun pieces to my folks place and build (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per)

Re: What do you store your Lego in?

Hi all, I have approx 30,000 pieces from 250 sets. I store all the pieces sorted and sorted in plastic drawers that can be seen at (URL) The pictures where taken when I had approx 15000 pieces.   Re: What do you store your Lego in?

Hi Braith, I bought two Rubbermaid brand 12 draw stackable storage packs. Each pack has a total of 96 compartments. I think they were about $36.00 each at K-Mart. Later I bought a smaller 6 draw version with 48 compartments and have stacked the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per)

What do you store your Lego in?

Hi all, Very quiet here at the moment so I thought I'd start a local thread. Well, after moving house and dismantling all of my official Lego sets (took some pics but haven't been to a lab yet), I've decided to sort my pieces with efficient building (...)   EP 1 Sets Every where

Spotted all EP1 sets at Kmart Karrinyup. Even Myers had the first 4 sets but Kmart was cheaper. I assume that all stores will have them now. I reckon they have had them out the back waiting to display them. The Largest EP1 set pod racers looks (...) (25 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.loc.au.wa.per)
