We've just had news that now LEGO can post wherever they like. Cool, perhaps.

IIRC as a group we can change our charter and whatnot to allow/disallow
certain types of post. (E.g. permitting auction announcements or sales
announcements from Australian sellers, etc.) Pull me up quick if I'm wrong here.

Anyways, I want to throw out a really big idea.

No LEGO posting in loc.au.

Much as I see your point, I think we should cut the LEGO guys some slack
here - I don't think they'll be posting S@H offers to .loc groups, specially
ones they don't pertain to. We've gotta assume they'll use their common
sense when posting (at least as much as the rest of us!), and they'll only
post where appropriate. And I'd rather see the occasional blunder than miss
out on possible stuff of interest.

And Suz had already said it'll be reviewed in 6 months, so if there's any
problems, we can voice them along the way, and Suz'll be sure to take them
into account then.

So after consideration, I'd be disappointed to see such a clause in our charter.

Regards

ROSCO
