  My ISCC entry

Hi guys, Well, I managed to get it to a state where it's possible to fake some good shots, and here they are, along with a few words. It's not complete, but I hope you (and more importantly the Model Team judges!) like it anyway. (URL) isn't the end (...) (23 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.au) !!

Magnificent (was Re: My ISCC entry)

  Re: My ISCC entry

Thanks David, I thought about cross-posting, but as the bridge isn't complete, and it's only an entry, I figured I'd keep it low-key. Rest assured I'll be announcing it far & wide when it's complete! ROSCO (...) (23 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.technic)

(...) Thanks, Richard! Now I've just gotta build the rest of the city 8?) ROSCO (23 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Magnificent (was Re: My ISCC entry)

(...) Right. OK. I could probably contribute a couple of buildings towards the Rocks area down in the shadow of the bridge... And and maybe a WWII destroyer for the Darling Harbour part. Richard Still baldly going... (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Magnificent (was Re: My ISCC entry)

(...) Sounds great! Maybe we could do a Sydney scene! Is the interstate thing still happening up there somewhere on the long weekend? 8?) ROSCO (thinking "how the h*** can I get this thing up to Sydney anyway?") (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: My ISCC entry

(...) Rosco, I like it, the second picture is great, a cool angle too! Well done :) I like the second pic cause you can't see the lego joins hardly at all so it looks nice and smooth. I think the flag and the people on top are cute. I like the (...) (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) ROSCO, That bridge is fabulous, the arch comes off very well with technic, and it's so graceful. Thanks, George (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) What more is still to come? Kerry (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.technic)

Re: Magnificent (was Re: My ISCC entry)

Re: Magnificent (was Re: My ISCC entry)

(...) Well, I built this huge technic crane that lifted it out through the roof... OK, just kidding. Actually, the arch can be separated at the centre, and each half can be carried by one person. With a little help from an ironing board, it's (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: My ISCC entry

(...) Well, the deck and hangers need a bit of work, and the museum needs something interesting to look at 8?) Besides that, I'm putting together some pages with details & a little story, and I'm not sure how long it'll take me to finish that. ROSCO (22 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.technic)

  Re: My ISCC entry

Astounding! I've had aspirations to build a LEGO bridge of this nature, but this creation would surely humble my best attempts. Very graceful construction. Seeing the minifigs on it really gives a good sense of the size of the thing. How did you get (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: My ISCC entry

(...) Thanks, Rev! It's strange - when I finished the arch (about October) it looked huge, but the more I see it the smaller it gets! 8?) (...) Combination. Some Brickbay, some private purchases, some ebay purchases. The biggest purchases were (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: My ISCC entry

I've seen those beams before.... :-) GREAT WORK, Ross !! I love it, really. And the real bridge is on TV every day over here - a bit smokey. I hope the fire won't reach you.
