Maybe I am just the last one to find out about this, but GST has made some fundamental changes to postage stamps. Postage within Australia has a GST-component, but postage internationally is GST-exempt. For reasons that I assume have something to do (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
