I'm kinda surprised you want to stir all that up here.
I'm with PeterW and Santosh. While we owe a debt to the professionals like
yourself, it also makes it harder for the mere mortals like ourselves. We
don't respond as fast, and we don't have the same resources. Sure that
opens up a perfectly legal opportunity for you to profit by scarcity. But
you can't expect us to like it ;-)
I too would like to see this little find go to a good home nearby where it
will be played with and loved as soon as possible, and preferably without
all the profiteering. It seems to me only sensible that as a community we
try to do that, and avoid all the cross pond shipping and markups. And
more, building on our local community has benefits for all of us here, and
that probably even has long term benefits for you traders, Lar.
And I'd gladly lose the potential margin to do it.
